This part replaces ZENC152 and the use of the fixed droop set screw. By replacing the droop screw with a spring the car is better balanced over bumps and offers an even better transition of weight entering a corner.
Setting up the Droop spring
Car assembled with motor and axle installed but no main spring.
Use the adjsutment screw to set the top of the lower pod plate to 4.5-5mm above the top surface of the chassis.
Install the main spring and wind this down so the spring is just touching the damper plate then add half a turn of pre-load.
Remember to then reset the rear ride height.
These are the basic build settings and will need to be adjusted to suit upper spring and damping used.
